My new weight loss diet
Ok, starting Monday, I'm gonna start losing weight. I have to. My rib injury is in part because of excessive bodyfat levels, especially in my abdomen. I'm gonna do a max of 2,000 calories on my workout days and 1,500 calories on my non-workout days. My diet is gonna consist of chicken and beef kabobs, sometimes lamb kabobs, baked chicken, ground beef patties, trout, salmon, walnuts and omelettes, along with mushrooms, onions, cabbage, spinach, broccoli, cauliflower, tomatoes, lettuce, cucumbers, cheese, bell peppers, olives, green beans and hot peppers and sauces. I'm gonna eat salmon salad on weekends and the trout, I'm gonna eat daily. I plan to load up on vegetables to cut back on my meat portions. On my workout days, I will make sure to get 6-8 ounces of meat at every meal, but on my non-workout days, i'm gonna cut back to 4 ounces at every setting. for breakfast, i'm gonna eat a big omelette with tomato, mushrooms, bell peppers and onions in it. For a snack, I'm gonna eat an individual package of walnuts and for my other 3 meals, I'm gonna eat fish, poultry and beef. My beef meal will be my last of the day, because I want a stead flow of protein in my system all night while I'm fasting. On the days I don't work out, I'm gonna eat 1 can of green beans as an additional amount of veggies since my meat consumption will be less on these days. This is gonna provide me with plenty of fiber. I figurs I can still get around 25 grams of fiber daily, which will be more than enough since I'm not gonna be eating that much anyways. I need to lose weight kind've at a faster pace because of health reasons, so that is why I am going to count my calories this time. This diet is also low in carbs, which will help as well. I'm going to try to stay under 30 grams of carbs daily, but if I can't, then I'm not too worried about it, because I won't be going over that much and it'll be veggies calories anyways. The weight and fat will come off with this diet, as it's low carb and low glycemic also. My diet is gonna have a lot of variety in it, because I'm preparing my foods differently daily, even though they are the same, they will be prepared differently. You cans eason chicken and beef tons of different ways, which is what I plan to do and I also plan to eat a lot of hot sauce as well to help create digestive juices. I have Middle Eastern seasonings, I make my own Mex style seasonings
and Italian seasonings. I'll keep everyone posted on my progress. I'm gonna do a weekly assessment of my weight and fat loss in this thread.

Re: My new weight loss diet
i thought that there was not going to be any more taxes, haha! do you actually think that the republicans are going to point this out, the morons! well, i started my low carb monday. it's doing good. eating chicken seasoned with mex spices and hot sauce, a big omelette every morning with onions, bell peppers, tomatoes and mushrooms witha lot of hot sauce, walnuts, grond beef, chorizo, and i'm starting on fish today. i ate really low carb yesterday, missing out on my spinach and broccoli, but that's ok. i ate chorizoa nd eggs for dinner with a load of extremely hot red sauce i made with habanero and jalapeno peppers in it. i ate a bedtime snack of a small ground beef patty on a bed of lettuce, tomato sauteed onions, bell peppers and mushrooms and a load of louisiana hot sauce, which i eat on top of everything to keep the digestive juices flowing. i'm still getting about 20 grams of fiber, except for yesterday. i even got in a can of green beans monday night with my second helping of chicken before i went to bed. i'm gonan make some trout today seasoned with tony chachere's herb blend seasoning and fresh parsley baked and stir fry also.
for bed, i'm not sure yet. i'll get something down, though. maybe the rest of the chorizo and eggs, which i had this morning and a can of spinach.

Re: My new weight loss diet
chorizo is mexican sausage. it's spicy. they have longanisa also, which is pretty much the same, in my opinion. longanisa is everywhere spanish influence is at, especially in the philippines. i've eaten both mexican and guatemalan longanisa, but haven't tried any filipino style longaniza, even though an asian supply store near me sells filipino longanisa. you should try some sometime, mothom. i'm sure they seel it at wal mart, as they do where i live. heck, at big wal marts, you can get as many mex spices and supplies that you can at some mex stores near me, haha! i ate half of what was left of the longanisa and eggs this morning, but i added some sauteed bell peppers, onions and mushrooms to it and for my snack at 1, i ate my 2 ounce package of walnuts and a tomato also. i'm just waiting on dinner today for the trout . 'm looking forward to that! i'm frying it in olive oil cooking spray and i'm gonna melt some butter and pour over it. that stir fry is calling also. i'm eating cheap. i have a budget of $50 weekly for food. i can eat all of my veggies for about $10 a week and i can eat all of my meat and eggs for about $20-$25. so, in a nutshell, i'm saving even though my mom and stepdad are eating with me. i'm going tomorrow to sam's club and am gnna buy a big chuck roast they sell for $1.98 lb. and have them to ground it up for me. you can't beat fresh ground chuck for $1.98 lb. i'm gonna start doing the kabobs on the weekends at work on the grill. you can get lamb stew meat and beef stew meat pretty cheap for kabobs and you can get boneless/skinless chicken thighs pretty cheap too, especially if you go to mex store. i pay $1.75 lb. for skinless/boneless thighs and the mex store. i'm also gonna start eating a lot of baked chicken heart and livers and gizzards. i had only eaten them breaded and fried before, but, the other day when i b aked the whole cut-up chicken, i baked them along with it and they turned out great, so, now, i may sustitute the hearts and livers for the regular chicken, as they are really good baked and a lot more nutritious, since they are organ meats and cheaper as well. i'm thinking about starting to grill at work on the weekends, though.

Re: My new weight loss diet
there are about 24,000 meskin-Americans living in my town. that's the legal ones. the town has slightly under 200,000 people. the boulevard is lined with meskin eating joints and grocery stores. there's a lot of them in other locations too. i'm sure i should have no trouble finding some chorizo, and that other stuff. my sister-in-law is meskin too. the hispanic people sure do have some pretty ladies, some ugly ones too.

Re: My new weight loss diet
well, today i ate what was left of the chorizo and eggs i fixed a couple days ago along with added hot sauce. for a snack, i ate my half cup of walnuts. for my 2nd big meal, i ate about a pound of combined chicken hearts and gizzards with sauteed bell peppers, onion and mushrooms drenched in hot sauce. for another snack, i ate about 2 ounces of pepper jack cheese and for my bedtime meal, i'm gonna saute some cabbage and onions
with my ground beef patty seasoned with spices and drenched in hot sauce and eat a can of spinach with it.
tomorrow, i'm gonna eat me some trout, as i'm gonna eat indian food for lunch, which i'll get plenty of chicken and veggies in there on the buffett line, so i'll eat me trout for dinner tomorrow with some broccoli and for bedtime snack, i'm gonna eat my ground beef patty with some cabage or wrapped in lettuce and tomato and sauteed onion, mushrooms and bell pepper topped with hot sauce. you can eat really good on a low carb diet. i haven't had any loose bowel movements since i have limited my pork consumption to just the chorizo. i have also limited my whole butter consumption as well. if i eat a lot of sausage, bacon or butter whilst on low carb, i get loose bowels. i eliminated that this time and haven't had any probs so far. i'm gonna workout tomorrow at the gym with my mom. this weekend, i'm gonna make taco salad from both chicken and beef without the tortillas, just the lettuce, onion, tomato, olives, meat, sour cream and cheese witht he hot sauce. see, that's good eatin without the carbs. i'll have me a nice omelette in the morning to start the day off tomorrow before i go to the gym.
