Exercise Discussion Thread - In memory of Jim Lavin

This thread is for discussing all the exercises in Bernard MacFadden's books available on the Sandow website, as well as all the Atlas exercises that can be found on the same website(and elsewhere). i don't think anyone can legally stop us from from discussing them here, seeing how they're already out in the open. Most of Atlas' exercises can be found in MacFadden's book, which predates Atlas. And i don't know of anyone who owns the copyrights forbidding us to discuss them. So lets go at it, if we have Chris' permission of course.
(i had a better title for this thread, but it wouldn't let me post it. said it was too long)

Just don't call the exercises Dynamic Tension. Nobody can stop us from talking about them. The exercises were around long before the Atlas course came out.

macfadden had a lot of moxie in him. he would go and start projects that would cause him to lose a fortune if they failed. also as far as wrestling is concerned, he was a fanatic in his dedication to not losing. he was such a good wrestler that in one period of his life about the only matches he could get were against much heavier opponents.

The Sandow site is priceless. The information there is worth it's weight in gold. I have been reading these newsletters I get from all these fitness gurus and they are basically telling you to do things the old timers were doing 100 years ago. Three cheers for the Sandow site!!!

i like those old timers head and shoulders over todays fitness gurus. would you rather sit down in conversation with, liederman, sandow, and atlas, or the mr. "o" contenders of today? many of the forums today are just back and forth slamming of one another. they are weary and tiresome as opposed to helpful knowledgeable.

You're right Gary. There is no shortage of rudeness.

Re: Exercise Discussion Thread

many forums seem to exist on being as rude to one another as possible. many of the people involved in such go from one forum to another bickering at the same people. too much time on their hands and a lack of decency or sense.
