My training log

Well, this is my training log. I officially started last week, as I said I was in an earlier thread. I'm building back to 7, 3 minute rounds. After 26 weeks, I plan to be at 12, 3 minute rounds. I'll officially record my results every day in this thread. I encourage all other's here to start their workout log as well so we can keep each other motivated.
I'm gonna do my bag workout as well. I'll have all recordings of each day, the exercises, reps, time, etc.
I'll surely be looking forward to achieving my goal of 12, 3 minute rounds! I'll achieve it after 26 weeks.

Re: My training log

When I lived in California I used to go to the PAL 5 days a week. I'd do the following 5-6 rounds of jump rope, 6-7 rounds of speed bag work, and then 7-8 rounds of heavy bag work. Plus I'd drop the medicine ball on my midsection 100-150 times. (That's a forgotten exercise.) Where I live now there is no bxoing available. Several "MMA" "djos" have sprung up, but those excite about as much as fat chicks. emoticon To much testosterone.

I guess I'm old fashioned. Plane old boxing is just fine with me.

Re: My training log

you could have competed with that kind of routine, jon. you was "hardcore." like you said, the medicine ball on stomach is a forgotten exercise, and one of the best too.
i'm gonna add that later. right now, what i'm doing, is do 6 rounds, which would be 24 minutes total with the 1 minute in-between rounds rest and do side bends, squats, push-ups, abs, pullups and jumping jacks also.
