Larry Scott

I have been a Larry Scott fan since I was a teen and he won the first 2 Mr O's. I thought he was cool. After reading this article I think he's great.

Re: Larry Scott

look at the difference from 1965 to the present and see how bodybuilding has turned into a form of freak show. mr. scott was a favorite of mine along with reeves, zane, and a few more. i know the olympia did not represent the beer company, but i have an olympia beer poster (replica), of a 1909 poster the company put out. it has a beautiful lady in it with the message "1909 greetings." the model that posed for the poster must have been stunning. keep well.

When I was in the Navy we able to get Olympia beer in California. It was best in a bottle.

I like it that Larry Scot left after winning Mr O twice, He left because because of the steroid business that was starting to ruin the sport. He is a man of his convictions, I applaud him for that.

mr. scott stands head and shoulders above the current crop of contenders, (or pretenders).

my jr. high p.e. teacher claimed to be friends with scott while they were in the marines. the problem with that is i can find no evidence scott was in the marines. if my memory is correct, he was in the air force.

Re: Larry Scott

well, since this is larry scott related, i will post in here instead of making a new thread. blair's protein might be coming back. i wrote jim shiblom a couple of years ago regarding purchasing blair's protein from him, but he had already sold the rights to a guy out in california. that guy died in a race car accident earlier this year and now the rights are free once more because he didn't have any family and jim is thinking of bringing blair's back again. he still ha the recipe and name of the lab that manufactured it for rheo. jim lavin used blair's protein back in the 60's and he said how great it was. anyways, scott was a big blair's protein user. he also has the amino's blair used to sell as well. he has the address of the lab that rheo used to sale the same amino's to zane and the rest of the guys also. i sure do hope that blair's comes back. i want to try some later. but, this will be next year for sure.

Re: Larry Scott

i was watching one of those atlas videos on the youtube while ago. i read a comment on one of them where some guy was defending atlas and dt. he used it himself. lost 20 lbs of fat while gaining 30 lbs of muscle. he also claimed to be larry scott's grandson. he says that his granddad told him the atlas course was a good course, and that it was good for getting into shape and overall health, but that it wasn't good for getting one into the shape they need to be in for a contest as it wasn't designed for that. i tend to agree. i wonder if the poster was telling the truth though about larry scott. one might point to marlon birch as an exception - but, he had to make modifications to it to make it work for bbng contests.

well, if larry scott actually is this guy's grandpa, then he told him correct. dt isn't for a bodybuilder and you won't look like one. the muscles you get with dt or any other similar training system is real muscle and isn't bloated like with weight. nope, your muscles won't be as nice and shapely and big, but they'll be 100% real and you'll be a lot healthier and in better shape as well from it.
