Re: Jon
15 minutes on the Airdyne is good. Hope your heart rate is ok.

Re: Jon
Well, it is. It is always low. When I had MRSA a few years back, and was at the specialists (infectious disease), I sat down, my jaw was spilitting open from infection, and the (actually) fantastic doctor asked me: are you an athlete?
And I looked her straight in the eye and said, "No?"
Well, apparently I have a very strong heart, and naturally low bpm.
So, even when I do DDP Yoga, and DDP is telling everyone, "My heart rate is jackin'!" I might be at 85.
and yes, when I go on an aerobic conditioning stretch, it gets even lower, 52, 50, 48, when I lay down and relax.
You should feel the pulse in my foot!

Re: Jon
In 1988 I was in perpetual training. My wife and I were in a car wreck and we went to the hospital. My blood pressure was like that of an athlete training for the Olympics. The doctor told me their were people that would give a million dollars for your heart rate which was quite low. You seem to be in that same category. Good for you Jon.

Re: Jon
Speaking of DDP. I took a very, long, hot shower this morning, then did Diamond Cutter 2.0. A very good result. Maybe I will start doing 20 minute saunas, then do a DDP workout?

Re: Jon
That might work out fine. I will try and workout again by New Years Day. Three months without any workouts to speak of.

Re: Jon
Twenty-five minute BBY this morning. A lot of static holds/stances. The horse/saddle pose is good for the thighs, lower back. Plank puts the whole body in a static position you guyses know that.
I worked hard yesterday, shoveling snow, moving bags of wood pellets, carrying around a floor Jack for my daughter's KIA. Muscles are sore, but no joint pain, no need for a hydrocodone either. Let us see where this adventure goes?

Re: Jon
I used the Soloflex Tuesday. I was so sore yesterday I could barely move. I feel much better today.
As much as I love resistance training it just "kills" me. I can do a ten second down, ten second hold, ten second up, push up, and feel great. I touch a dumbell, or use the Soloflex and I feel like I have been hit by a bus. I do not get it.
