Re: Jon
Well, I go through stages. I sleep a lot one weekend, and a year later, sleep well for another weekend.
Bullworker workout this morning. It was isometric, 7 second holds or every "movement". It felt good. I have had an inner desire building to start Super Slow with my dumbbells. Maybe when the weather turns.
Wing Chun tonight. (nyuk, nyuk...)

Re: Jon
I woke this morning and rode 40 minutes on the Airdyne, to Led Zeppelin.
Still have the 30 pounds to lose that I have gained since May.

Re: Jon
Bullworker workout yesterday. A full body workout. Since I shucked the Airdyne (for now) and started using the Bullworker again, I have lost 5-6 pounds.

Re: Jon
when school started I was 210 (pounds). This morning I was 199. Interesting, as soon as I quit using the Airdyne, the weight started to slip off. I have not pursued any special diet, just eating less.I would like to shed 20 more pounds.
Still getting slapped away at Wing Chun. I did a bit of hiking in Idaho's Palouse last weekend. I was at the University of Idaho for Father's Weekend. Great time.
I am about to not break a sweat with the Bullworker.
See you all later.

Re: Jon
Thanks,
About 3.5 hours of Wing Chun this week, so far. also, three Bullworker workouts. I know many "manly men" laugh when I tell them I practice a ladies martial art, and workout with a Bullworker, but I am past that macho scheiss...
I am actually, not in bad shape, in regards to the Wing Chun. There is not a lot of "military training" involved with it. We start with practicing the first form, practice punches, and then head straight into the class.
For you rock and roll fans there is a pretty good documentary on Keith Richards on Netflix. I have never been a huge Rolling Stones fan, but I am becoming a Keith Richards fan.
You all take care.
Jon

Re: Jon
I know what you mean, about wing chun, I used to mix up my training with western boxing, to help with my ego. Many times in Wing Chun I wouldn't break a sweat, so I felt as though I hadn't worked out. The Chinese train in a different way, once you get it though it is hard to go back to the western way of training.
It is a nasty little art, designed to hurt though, And it works.
I miss doing the first form, there is a lot more in it then most people realise.
Keep at it Jon.

Re: Jon
I heard a recent Keith Richards interview on World Cafe. He loves music and appreciates good performing artists. Hearing cuts from his new solo album you can hear the major influence he has been with the Stones.
