If you can find it, Norman Maclean started a biopic of Custer. He only finished 5 chapters. I used to have a copy, it was, if I remember correctly, pretty fascinating. No one could lay the cards on the table like Norman Maclean.

I 've seen the movie "A River Runs Through it" but I haven't read the read the book. After reading the article I want to read the book. Books are always better than the movie.

Books generally are better than the movies. A few summers back I sat down and read all of Ian Fleming's Bond novels. Yes, they were much better than the movies.

I agree. I have the complete set of all the Bond books and I have read them through in chronological order twice. Individual books 2 and 3 times. The character in the books is much better than the movie Bonds. The best thing about the books is Fleming gives you Bond's thoughts. The movies don't do that.
