No Joy In Chicago Today
The Cubs got beat out but "Wait'll Next Year." I was pulling for the Cubs to go back to the World Series.

Re: No Joy In Chicago Today
They won the Series last year so they can go another 100 years until they win another. It looked to me like the classic Cubs choke in the playoffs.

Re: No Joy In Chicago Today
Most likely he will. This year will almost seem like an all National League World Series.

Re: No Joy In Chicago Today
We will see. Verlander can go toe to toe with Kershaw. Dallas K can match up against any of the Dodger pitchers. It might get interesting. Or, the Dodgers could sweep.

Re: No Joy In Chicago Today
I like what rpr said. Houston has never won the series. so it's their turn. I doubt they will though. i'm used to it.

Re: No Joy In Chicago Today
I was a fan of the Astros when Bagwell and Biggio were there.

Re: No Joy In Chicago Today
I do not know why Biggio did not go into the Hall of Fame first ballot. And what is with Jeff Kent? The best hitting second baseman in the hisotry of modern baseball? Match his stats with Joe Morgan.

Re: No Joy In Chicago Today
The Baseball and Football Hall of Fame voting has become a sham. The glaring omissions of those that have been left out for lesser players is astonishing.
