Airplane Crash

here's a hypothetical. if you were to be in a plane crash in the wilderness. and there's only 2 survivors. you and a famous bber/PC of the past 200 years. both of you are unscathed. and ya'll are trying to make it back to civilization. which bber/PC would you rather to be plane crashed with? i'm still thinking about my pick.

Re: Airplane Crash

The first guy to come to mind is Chuck Sipes. He's still known as being the nicest guy in pro BBing. One thing he used to do was take troubled youths into the wilderness for 26 days as part of their rehabilitation. I take it that was like a survival type of exercise. He was also an avid hiker in the mountains and wilderness. So I would pick Chuck. He would know how to survive.

Re: Airplane Crash

I would go with Steve Reeves. He was in the Navy in WWII. So, he had to have been through basic, and duering that time would, I imagine, have been taught emergency survival, either on land, or floating in a raft.

If there are BBers from the Vietnam era, and served, that would be my choice as well. So I guess Steve Michalik would be a choice. (I had to research this one...)

Actually, Steve Reeves served in the Army during WW2 and saw some action in the Philippines, until he got malaria. Never the less a good choice.

Although not a pro BBer, Clint Walker served in the Merchant Marines, but I don't know how that would help him in survival after a plane crash.
